  • MAC Prep and Prime Face
  • MAC Studio Sculpt Foundation in NW15
  • MAC Studio Sculpt Concealer in NW20

Ok, so I feel like an idiot. I posted this video on Youtube but I never put it on my blog. Sometimes I can be so scatterbrained that its crazy!

This is a nice bright look that I think is best kept for a weekend, unless you are lucky enough to work in a really flexible workplace or outside an office.

Makeup Tutorial: Burgandy and Russet Look

Posted in Tutorials tagged , , , , , , , , , , , at 12:05 pm by gothidgeangel

I keep finding old tutorials that I haven’t uploaded yet, so sorry I am so disorganized. This was from when I had the redder hair and I was going through a “I love Coppering eye shadow” faze. I still love Coppering eye shadow, I’m just not using it as much as I was when I had the red hair.

To recreate this look, you will need (all products are MAC unless stated):
- Two Faced Shadow Insurance
- Artifact paint pot
- Sketch eye shadow
- Coppering eye shadow
- Carbon eye shadow
- Vanilla eye shadow
- Rose Blanc eye shadow

- Styli Style Line & Seal in “Black”

Makeup Tutorial: Purple-Blue Smokey Look

Posted in Tutorials tagged , , , , , , , at 5:04 am by gothidgeangel

This look was inspired by my sister’s new shoes that she got recently. I did a look similar to this on her when she was going out clubbing while wearing the shoes.

I had to steal them to show them in the video so yea, sorry I stole your shoes Kitty.

Yes I do admit, it is a little sad to be getting inspiration from a pair of shoes, but I get inspiration from weird sources.

Another admission: I forgot to take photos after completing the tutorial. Therefore I had to redo the look on one eye, thats why there are no full-face shots.

100_1602

To recreate this look you will need:

  • Urban Decay Primer Potion
  • Nice Vice paint pot
  • Climate Blue eye shadow
  • Dame’s Desire eye shadow (Dame Edna “Royal Tour” Trio)
  • Parfait Amour eye shadow
  • Waft eye shadow (Smoke Signals “Gentle Fume” Quad)
  • Vanilla eye shadow
  • Coastal Scents gel liner in “Deep Plum”
  • Styli-Style Line&Seal eyeliner “Black”

Makeup Tutorial: Hello Kitty “Lucky Tom Quad” Look

Posted in Tutorials tagged , , , , , , , , , , , , at 3:35 pm by gothidgeangel

This is a look that I learned at the Hello Kitty VIP event near my house. My mum and I went to this event together in March. Even though my mum doesn’t wear makeup that often, she still had fun because she enjoys looking at all the different eye shadows and what looks can be created with MAC products.

I thought considering I have had this quad for so long, and as yet I have done no tutorials with it, I would do a look using this.

I know people are probably over Hello Kitty (some people were over it before it came out because of all the hype around it) but I am a Hello Kitty addict (as you can see from all the charms on my keys and phone in the video).

Also, in this video, I actually have music! The band who provided the music is “High Elation” and my boyfriend plays bass for them. They’re sort of a bluesy-rock style which is pretty cool. One of their guitarists thinks of himself as Jim Morrison reincarnated and he is an amazing guitarist. I felt that I needed to put music in my videos again so it wasn’t so quite. As yet I am still looking for more music to put into my tutorials so if anyone knows of any bands that will allow me to use their music, leave a comment and I’ll get back to you.

To recreate this look you will need:

  • Painterly paint pot/ Urban Decay Primer potion
  • Hello Kitty “Lucky Tom” quad (Creme Royal, Paradisco, Stylin’ and Lucky Tom)
  • Vanilla eye shadow
  • Styli-Style line&seal eyeliner in Black

Tutorial Request: Amy Lee (Evanescence) “Call Me When You’re Sober” Inspired Look

Posted in Celebrity Inspired Looks, Request, Tutorials tagged , , , , , , , , , , at 3:37 pm by gothidgeangel

This was a tutorial request made by amylynnlee3 for a look that Amy Lee wears in the video clip of the Evanescence song “Call Me When You’re Sober”. I was really excited about getting my first tutorial request so thank you to amylynnlee3 for requesting it. I tried to find MAC colours that would work well for this look but when I tried it out it looked too pink.

This look is done using the 76 eye shadow palette (Version 2) from Coastal Scents. The Version 1 of the same palette does have the same colours that I use in this look but they are just in the far right of the palette instead of to the left.

The Inspiration:neyqnn
